• Is Penina Villas Private Collection part of the Penina Hotel & Golf Resort ?
  The Collection is a group of privately owned villas located within the Penina estate and is not managed by the Penina Hotel & Golf Resort or its hotel operator. Guests benefit from the resort’s historic golf setting and surroundings while enjoying the privacy, space and home‑like comfort of a dedicated villa just for their group. For families and groups, the villas often provide more bedrooms, generous indoor–outdoor living areas and private-use pools and jacuzzi, making them a more relaxed and cost‑effective alternative to multiple hotel rooms in a traditional five‑star property.
• Is the pool heated?
  Outdoor pools in the Algarve are usually not heated, because in our climate – and with good sun exposure – they naturally reach around 29 ºC in summer, which is a typical comfort range for swimming. Keeping such a large pool artificially warm in winter would require a lot of extra energy for only a few usable days, as most heat is quickly lost to the cold air. On colder days guests usually prefer to enjoy the jacuzzi, which is kept at relaxing spa temperatures of around 37 ºC.
• Is it possible to book both villas together ?
  Yes, Casa do Prado and Casa da Floresta can be booked separately or together, depending on availability. There is a small gate in the garden that connects both villas and can be locked or left open, making it easy for larger groups to move freely between the pool at one villa and the jacuzzi at the other, and to enjoy both spaces as one shared retreat.
• Is a security deposit required ?
  A refundable security deposit may be required for some villas; full details and amounts appear during booking and in your confirmation.
• What is the cancellation policy ?
  Cancellation terms vary by rate and dates; they are clearly displayed before you confirm your reservation and in your confirmation email.
• Can you help with golf, activities, or special requests?
  Yes, we will gladly assist with recommendations for golf, sports, nature activities, restaurants, and special arrangements such as celebrations, subject to availability. OUR PROMISE: Every recommendation survived the ultimate test - pleasing multiple generations with different interests during actual family holidays or guest stays. We share what creates lasting memories, not what pays commissions.
• Is it safe to book here? I usually book on Airbnb.
